الشعب يريد اصلاح نفسه

قد حان الوقت الان ليلقي الشعب نظرة نقد بناءه الي نفسه. فقد حان الوقت لاصلاح نفوس الشعب.

قد بدأ الشعب باصلاح النظام، النظام العميل ، النظام الذي عاس في ارض مصر فسادا فحكم علي نفسة بهذه الثورة فلم يجد الشعب وسيلة اخري لخلاصة. و لا اتذكر لحظة اسعد من هذه اللحظة في حياتي ، فقد كانت لحظة اعادت لي – و لكثير ممن اعرفهم – بصيص من الامل بعد ان فقد الكثيرين الامل في وجود الامل اصلا.

و لكن عندما هنئنا انفسنا جميعا بما وصل الية شعبنا العظيم (الذي لم يعد صبور ولا مهاود طبعا) من سلوك حضاري الذي تمثل في المظاهرات السلمية و اللجان الشعبية و غيرها و لم ننظر الي اي من الجوانب السلبية التي كانت متفشية. فلم يفكر احدا في:

- إن الفساد لم يكن متفشيا فالنظام فقط بل كلن متفشيا في الشعب فهل توقف الموظف البسيط عن قبول “الهدايا العينية” من فئة الخمسة جنيه حتي المئة ابتداء من يوم 26 يناير 2011؟ فهذا الموظف جزء من الشعب

- أليس بعض ظباط الذين عذبوا الشعب  جزء من الشعب؟

- أليس عناصر الامن المركزي الذين بطشوا بالمتظاهرين في 25 يناير و يوم الجمعة الحزين بجزء من الشعب؟

- و هناك ايضا البلطجية الذين انتشروا في ارجاء المحروسة يروعون الكبير والصغير، والذين فتحوا ابواب السجون – سواء كانوا من الشرطة او من الشعب-  والذين كانوا يستغلون اللجان الشعبية في “تخليص حقهم من اللي كان بيحصل فيهم في كماين الشرطة”، والكثيرين ممن يحاولون استغلال الثورة الشريفة في تحقيق مئارب شخصية. أليس كل هؤلاء من الشعب؟

- اوليس الجنود الذين ضربوا الشباب و سحلوا الفتيات و كشفوا عن عذريتهم و قتلوا الشيخ و الفتي من الشعب؟

- و اضف اليهم الجموع الغفيرة التي اطلقت اتهامات العمالة والخيانة الي كل من يختلف – ولو قليلا- مع اي من اراءهم.

فالشعب في اشد الحاجة الي الاصلاح، اصلاح النفوس فقد تلوثت انفسنا (و انا اول المتلوثين) من سنوات خالطنا فيها الفساد و كان هو السمة السائدة فينا فكيف لاطهر الاُثواب الا يتلوث اذا ترك فالطين سنين و سنين عدة (الا طبعا لو كنا غاسلينو باريال).

في نظري اصلاح النظام و ترك النفوس اخطر بكُثير من وجود نفوس طاهرة محكومة بنظام فاسد. فان ولدت الديموقراطية في اغلبية فاسدة كانت تشريع الفساد فيصح الباطل و يبطل الحق. و نحن الان في انتظار ولادة ديموقاطيتنا فلنتوجها بقلوب طاهرة.

فالختام رسالتي هي ان نحكم ضمائرنا و ليس قولبنا ولا عقولنا حتي نصلح امرنا. فإن املي عليك ضميرك انت تذهب الي التحرير فاذهب الان و قلبي معك و اقف في وجه كل من يخونك، و ان املي عليك ان تذهب الي عملك لتبني غدا افضل فاعمل بجد، و ان اردت ان تساعد مسكينا او محتاجا فان الله يربي الصدقات، اما ان وجدت طريقك في ان تصلي و تبتهل الي الله فلا تنسانا من الدعاء

ماتش الزباين

أكيد طبعا انا مبقتش بشجع كورة لدرجة اني اكتب عنها. الموضوع و ما فيه اني افتكرت التعبير دا وانا قاعد دلقوتي.

و التعبير دا انا واخده من واحد صاحبي اسمه احمد منير (لا يمت باي صلة للفنان محمد منير وانا سالته بنفسي). احمد بيقولي تعبير “ماتش الزباين” دة كل ما اغلبه في البي اس و دا مبيحصلش كتير. هو في رأيه انه مينفعش يفضل كل مرة يغلبني لان لو الموضوع فضل كدا “الزبون” (الي هو انا) هيتطفش و مش هيلاقي حد يغلبه فلازم يسيبني اكسب كدا كل فترة. حاجة كدا زي لما الاهلاوية يقلولك مينفعش نكسب الزمالك كل مرة لازم كل شوية نسبلهم ماتش.

ألمهم انا افتكرت موضوع ماتش الزباين دا النهاردة وانا بفكر في الي حصل في انتخبات مجلس الشعب 2010. وانا بفكر قلت طيب طالما الحكومة كدا كدا بتزور و ببجاحة طيب لية سايبين شوية مقاعد فالمجلس للمستقلين والمعارضة؟  لية  ميبقاش المجلس كلو حزب وطني بدل ما يبقي معظمو حزب وطني؟ و هنا جه فدماغي ماتش الزباين. ماهما لو كل مرة هيكسبو في كل الدواير الزبون هيطير و مش هيلاقوا حد بعد كدا يلعب معاهم (قصدي يمثل) و ساعتها ولاد الدايرة (الي هما الشعب) هيبقي معاهم حق في موضوع “المراقبة الدولية”.

بس الي حرق دمي بجد ان اول ما بصيت في جرنال الاهرام النهاردة لقيت خبر فالصفحة الاولي “اشادة اوروبية بنزاهة و نجاح انتخبات مجلس الشعب” رحت علي طول جريت علي الابتوب و فاتح البي بي سي علي قسم الشرق الاوسط لقيت اخبار عن التزوير الي حاصل فالانتخبات في مصر. اله؟ طيب اصدق مين فيهم؟ انا قلت ادي الاهرام فرصتو يمكن الي كتب الماشيت ملحقش يكملو و كان قصده اشادة اوروبية بنزاهة و نجاح انتخبات مجلس الشعب في كزاخستان مثلا. نزلت عالخبر الي بعدو الي بيقول ان في مشاركة بنسبة 25%؟؟؟!!!! 25% من مين بالظبط؟؟؟؟ الشعب ولا المسجلين للانتخاب؟؟

لو قصدو الشعب فالمفروض اننا بسم الله ما شاء الله و حصوة في عين الي ما يصلي عالنبي عدينا ال80 ميلونز يعني قول 40 مليون ليهم حق الانتخاب يبقي المفروض 10 مليون انتخبوا. 10 مليون في يوم واحد. يعني ال25% دي معناها ان المفروض انا واحد من كل 4 اعرفهمراحو انتخبو و هو اصلا مافيش غير واحد اعرفه الي راح انتخب.

اما اّذا كان قصده 25% من المسجلين فدي نسبة مضللة. يعني لو 1% من الشعب هما الي مسجلين و 0.5 % من الشعب انتخب هتبقي المشاركة 50%؟ ما علينا

الي انا بقي بجد مستغربه ان الناس مستغربة. لية؟ يعني هو احنا كنا مستنيين حاجة تانية؟ هو دا علي اساس ان انتخبات مجلس الشوري محصلش فيها كدا؟

يلا فالنهاية احب اقول عاشت مصر حرة مستقلة و تحيا الوحدة العربية و يحيا الاتحاد الشتراكي و يحيا الدعي العما الاشتراكي و انا و انت وابقي سلملي علي نزيهة عشان شريفة خلا اتجوزت و قعدت في بيتهم.

مولد سيدي البرادعي Mouled Sedi El Baradei

You might think that this is another article to attack the Honorable Mr. El Baradei, Well that’s too bad because it’s not.

This article is about the current “Fiasco” about the upcoming Egyptian presidential Elections. If you are not familiar with it let me brief you. The main nominees for candidacy so far are no other than the “Crown Prince of Egypt” “El Ostaz Gamal Mubarak” and Dr. Mohamed El Baradei Ex. Director General of IAEA. The public has been divided between the support of each nominee and each side has his own reasons. It is worth mentioning that neither of the nominees haven’t bluntly expressed their intentions for running for the presidency, all they have offered is a “may be” here and “we’ll see” there. Further more they haven’t declared that they have clear plans or even blurred thoughts for what they would offer in case they run, and I personally doubt if either of them has prepared anything yet.

The current events and what I have heard from the supporters of both sides has strongly reminded my of the ad campaigns of Vodafone (Titled: “Ana Vodafone”) and Mobinil (Titled: “Ana Mobinil Star”).

The Vodafone Ad was compromised of a gathering of Egyptian Celebrities including Actor, singers, Media Morons (e.g. Amr Adib) and Soccer Players among others. The Camera would focus on each of the Celebrities while he/she says “Ana Vodafone”.

The Mobinil Ad on the other hand, as you might have guessed, is totally different; as it features different individuals with varying demographics (gender, age groups, and general appearance) and each one of them would say “Ana Mobinil Star”.

The Remarkable thing about the two ads is that they have provided the viewer with a single fact nor and advantage about being “Vodafone” or “Mobinil star”.

I find this to be a very similar situation to the current events leading to Egypt’s Presidential Elections 2011. The Public have taken it as their personal agenda to find and locate the two nominees and speak on their behalf, meanwhile without giving any reasonable justification or compelling arguments.

I am not opposed to support either Gamal Mobarak or Dr. El Baradei for any other reason than that there is not reason to support them. Actually let me take that back, I have other reasons for not supporting the former but its not the time or place

The reasons I have heard for supporting Gamal Mubarak are so ridiculous that i am not even going to dignify them by adding them to my article. However, from talking to supporters of Dr. El Baradei I have heard the following reasons:

• He is an honorable man
• He has a history of diplomatic activity
• He is a noble peace prize winner
• he is not a puppet for the west
• he has moderate views
• he is well brought up
• he has no “black history”
• etc.

Well let me tell you, our Bawab Mr. Zarif Megahed Ta’alab also stratifies most of the above except for the diplomatic activity and the noble, but I am pretty sure that he has set the record for smoking the most “mi3asel” in one day and that must count for something. Despite the compelling reasons to support Mr. Zarif, I would rather not.

It is not in my intention to demean of Mr. El Baradei’s status, history of accomplishments or qualifications, but this is simply not how elections work.

In an election the Public should support (or not support) a candidate based on his/her Campaign and Presidential plan. A friend has told me that it is too late for a plan and we are “beneghra2″ (sinking) and we do not have the privilege of time, well, we have waited 28 years so I do not think time is an issue.

Let’s drop the sarcasm for a second, it is really saddening for me to see friends of mine, even those who claim to be liberal and long lived supporters of democracy (which I oppose BTW) are drifting into that direction. But what really saddens that even the well educated class of Egypt has reached that state of desperation that all we are asking for is to change “He who shall not be named” (you got to be a harry potter fan to get this one). We just need someone, just someone, anyone, just as long as he has a different last name.  How Sad…

Finally, if you truly believe that El Baradei can be president through Elections then start calling for his plan instead of “BLINDLY” supporting him. If you do not think so, then revolution is the only answer left, and all of this talk is futile so stop the fiasco.

Hal anta Facebookawy (Are you A Facebook Addict)

I have been contimplating on this for quiet some time now, and i have finally finalized my theory on how to spot a “Facebookawy”.

A Facebookawy is a term coined by me (el 3abd lelah) or atleast I claim that it is. A Facebookawy is what is generally known as A Facebook Addict. Beware if any of the following applies to you or an aquaintance then you (or your friend) are in danger of becoming a Facebookawy, if it is not already too late. If you notice that you ar behaving in a similar fashion to any of the following please consult with your physician for the proper medication.

Here we go, you might be a Facebookawy if:

• You spend more than 3 hours a day on Facebook (that one is rather obvious isn’t it)
• You’d rather chat with your friends on Facebook chat than on Windows live messanger, Yahoo Messenger, or GTalk (or any other decent Chat client that is)
• You organize your outings using Facebook events
• You depend on Facebook to tell you when you best friend’s birthday (other versions of this one include your wife, girl/boyfriend, sister, brother, etc)
• You communicate with friends by witing on their Walls
• You’d rather play games on Facebook than high resolution, action packed PC games
• You have started one of those Snowball Effect groups
• You have started one of those “If we get 1 million memebers the sky is gonna rain gold coins and you’ll get your own Leprechaun” groups

CIB: The worst banking Experience

I have been a customer with CIB for almost 3 years now; and lately their QOS took a serious dive.

I have been trying to withdraw cash with my Debit card for the past couple of days and i alos tried using it at retail outlets and it has been a total nightmare.

I have called their support centre and they told me that it I have to wait for a couple of day’s as their ATM network is down. And ,in good faith, i waited. Then i tried using my card again but to no avail. The damn thing still won’t work. Then i was told to wait for another day. And guess waht? ya u got it right nothing changed. The problem is that i was trying to buy something from the same store every time and every time my card doesn’t work. I looked like a total looser and they probably thought i stole the damn card.

Anyway, this time i called their customer support for the 4th time but now i was all chareged up. This time i really stuck it to the CS agent and his manager. I was really disappointed and frustrated because i couldn’t even do the basic banking, i couldn’t withdraw my money. It was like they took my money and they were saying no we won’t give it back

انا رحت القلعة

This is one of Ahmed Foad Negm’s early poems that I actually like. I am not a big fan of the guy, or more accuratly i depise him but I am a fan of his early work. The poem has also been sung by “Nagham Masry”. It goes alittle something like this:

The taking of Pelham 123: I would rather if you haven’t taken it

Good afternoon my dear old fans (huh!!! as if), I am glad to say that I am back after a long time away. I have been kept away with my MBA and my new job…. ehhhhhh I’ll to that in another post; i am sure you are dying to find out (yeah right).

This post is about something else. It is about one of the most surprisingly tasteless movies i have seen – by far.

Yes you guessed it; I am talking about “The Talking of Pelham 123″

I went with a friend to watch the movie I have been longing for, for quiet sometime, and with a crew like that I thought i was in for a night to remember,  that I was about to see the next Oscar harvester. I mean we are talking Travolta and Den-fuckin’-zel, not to mention the guy from the Sopranos, wasn’t his name Tony something (just kidding no one can forget James Gandolfini)

Sadly enough, the movie was nothing like I expected, and it failed miserably to meet my standards. I do not want to spoil the movie for those who haven’t seen it yet (btw don’t) but it lacked everything.

For a thriller it just wasn’t thrilling enough for me, I wasn’t on the edge of my seat. I wasn’t even in the middle of it, In fact, if anything, I was laid back struggling no to fall asleep.

I found the plot to be especially poorly set, it wasn’t smooth and you couldn’t make sense of why the characters did what they did. Not to mention that the idea of kidnapping a train has so been done.

Well, to be fair, I am going to take back my earlier “it lacked everything” statement. The movie was oozing with talent. Well how can it not, Travolta, Denzel, and Gandolfini did everything they could as far as I am concerned. Scratch that they have even out performed themselves. The acting was magnificent. But because everything else sucked you couldn’t feel the passion.

All in all, it was like watching a b-movie and bad one too.
